Call for Artists

Content Artist

Are you skilled at creating appealing icons, characters, creatures, backgrounds, and immersive scenes? JinVi is seeking artists to help transform prototype art into professional, polished visuals. Assignments may include vector art used for counters, icons, player aids; and raster compositions used for card faces, card backs. gameboards, and other materials.

Requirements

We appreciate wonderful art by artists everywhere. But, we’re not yet ready to enter into contracts internationally with artists.

  • Subject to US law and legally authorized to work in the US.
  • Work produced under a work-for-hire contract
  • Final deliverables must be original creations and not AI-generated or derivatives of any other works
  • Commitment to fast turn-around schedules (concept sketches, rough draft, final polished art)
  • Flexibility to handle one-off project assignments
  • Use of and experience with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator

Graphic Designer

Do you have a strong sense of layout, typography, and visual flow? We need designers who can take finalized rules text and content art, then combine them to refine the rules into polished, engaging, easy-to-read rule cards, sheets, and booklets. We also need designers to create attractive packaging around pre-positioned labeling elements for tuck boxes and rigid boxes that showcase the game’s style and appeal to customers’ key needs and wants.

Requirements

  • Work produced under a work-for-hire contract
  • Commitment to fast turn-around schedules (draft layouts, revisions, final print-ready files)
  • Ability to integrate text and artwork into cohesive designs
  • Experience in layout design, typography, and visual storytelling
  • Familiarity with preparing files for CMYK press print
  • Flexibility to handle one-off project assignments
  • Use of and experience with Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator
